英国独立电子乐队Broadcast，1995年成立于英国伯明翰。 乐队成员为：主唱Trish Keenan（2011年去世），吉他手Tim Felton（2004年离队），贝斯手James Cargill，键盘手Roj Stevens（2000年离队）和鼓手Steve Perkins（2000年离队）。

Broadcast于1995年成立于英国伯明翰，以优美的女声及动人的旋律著称。乐队由主唱Trish Keenan，吉他手Tim Felton，贝斯手James Cargill，键盘手Roj Stevens及鼓手Steve Perkins组成。美国的迷幻摇滚对他们有着深刻的影响，1996年乐队在Wurlitzer Jukebox厂牌下出版了第一首单曲“Accidentals”，单曲一发行就引来了诸多好评，乐评纷纷将其与Stereolab相比较，这样的比较一直延续到乐队发行第二部作品《Living Room》。一年之内，他们又在Duophonic上发行了两张EP，在发行了EP《Book Lovers》后，乐队转至Warp旗下，并于1997年出版了单曲合辑《Work and Non-Work》，乐队倍受期待的新专辑于2000年发行，名为《The Noise Made by People》。过了将近三年，他们的下一张EP《Echo’s Answer》才发行，紧接着，他们的第一张专辑《The Noise Made By People》面世了，随后又发行了三张EP。EP的大量涌现表明了，EP不仅是一个促进专辑发展的简单工具，而且实际上是一个可供乐队探索并把他们的音乐拓展到不确定的领域的平台。
Steve Perkins和Roj Stevens于2000年离开乐队，Tim Felton也于2004年离开。之后Roj Stevens发行了一张个人专辑，Tim Felton与来自Plone乐队的Billy Bainbridge组建了乐队Seeland。 女主唱Trish Keenan于2011年1月14日因H1N1流感导致的肺炎引起的并发症逝世，享年42岁。此后James Cargill成为该乐队的唯一现任成员。乐队在其职业生涯中发行了五张专辑：“The Noise Made by People”（2000年），“Haha Sound”（2003年），“Tender Buttons”（2005年），“Broadcast and The Focus Group Investigate Witch Cults of the Radio Age” （2009年，与The Focus Group合作）和“ Berberian Sound Studio”（2013年，同名电影的配乐）。 Cargill表示，计划为Keenan的最后的录音制作一张专辑。
