《Beg For Mercy》里面收录的是亚当兰伯特在参加美国偶像成名前录制的demo，制作粗糙，它的发行并不是Adam本人的意愿，发行公司也不是Adam现属唱片公司RCA。Adam正式出道之前和吉他手Monte Pitman组成地下乐队The Citizen Vein演出并创作大量歌曲。由于这些歌曲版权不在Adam手里，所以如今无法阻止这张专辑的发行。这些多年前制作的歌曲Adam录得很用心，但是很多歌曲都未完成，而且不能代表现如今Adam的演唱水平和创作能力，和Adam现在的风格也有不同。这张专辑也不会给Adam本人带来收入，是伪专辑。
