蓝井艾露是SONY继supercell、piko、ClariS之后又一新人歌手 。于2011年10月19日凭借动漫Fate/Zero片尾主题曲专辑《MEMORIA》正式出道。
蓝井艾露出身自北海道札幌，从小就爱好音乐，在高中曾担任乐队主唱。之后一心想进入音乐界发展，因在nico上翻唱了piko的「Story」而被音乐人安田史生发掘，于2011年4月的日本音乐杂志《Lisani！》上以eir的名义首度露面，当时尚未向公众展露完整面容，曾被日刊称为“谜之美少女”。
